This will not end in death. Nope, it is for God's glory so that God's son may be glorified thru it.

Jesus LOVES Mary, Martha, AND Lazarus, but waits 2 days to go to Lazarus. When he arrives, Martha and Mary both hit him with, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." What a welcome. Jesus was very intentional through this whole thing. He knew the glory of God would be seen, even though “we” didn’t get it yet. Next come three words that change everything.........."Lazarus, come forth!".........then out walks the dead man, now alive. Jesus waited for his friend Lazarus to die. He didn't come when Mary and Martha told him. He was on God's schedule. He had a purpose. Actually he had an appointment with a dead man. He knew where and when, and he was going to be there when he was supposed to be. Just as he has done with me and I truly hope he has done with you. He met me at that place, at that time, and he told me to "Come forth!" He resurrected me and gave me LIFE.
Jesus gave us HIS take on his power over death...."I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
